Job Description
Waste Connections of Canada has immediate openings for a Class 3 Garbage Truck Driver at our Vernon district. We provide excellent training and give our drivers a great paying career with benefits. As a Commercial Garbage Truck Driver, you are responsible for waste & recycling collection services in and around the City of Vernon. This job is very physical and you work outside in all weather conditions.COMPETITIVE HOURLY RATE & INCENTIVES:
- $29.22 per hour (subject to probationary rate)
- $5000 Sign-On Bonus
- Excellent Benefits + RRSP Match
- Monday to Saturday, early start (4:30am-6am)
- Be home daily!
- Safe operation of vehicles
- Daily Pre and Post Trip Inspections
- Adherence to all traffic laws and our company safe operating procedures.
- Class 3 driver\xe2\x80\x99s license
- Clean CVOR and Abstract
- 1-2 years of Class 3 driving experience
