Job Description


Limited competition for Northwest Territories residents only. Point of pick up locations for these positions are Yellowknife, all four T\xc5\x82\xc4\xb1\xcc\xa8ch\xc7\xab communities, Hay River and Fort Smith, NT.

T\xc5\x82\xc4\xb1\xcc\xa8ch\xc7\xab Logistics is 100% Indigenous owned by T\xc5\x82\xc4\xb1\xcc\xa8ch\xc7\xab Investment Corporation. We provide Site Services Expertise, Project Management, Maintenance Service, and Labourer Personnel for our clients.

We are currently accepting applications for Class 3 Operator position at the Gahcho Kue Mine.

Responsibilities:

  • Operating the Prill Truck and/or Bulk Truck
  • Conducting regular pre and post inspections
  • Maintain equipment to the high level of safety standards
Skills/Qualifications:
  • Hold a valid Class 3 drivers license with airbrakes
  • Minimum 2 years experience operating water truck, fuel truck, vac truck, bulk truck
  • Safety conscious attitude is a requirement
  • Fluency in T\xc5\x82\xc4\xb1\xcc\xa8ch\xc7\xab considered is an asset
  • Fluency in English required
All positions will require security and medical clearances for the remote camp site. Our client has a requirement that anyone travelling to work at the site must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. You will be required to provide proof of your vaccination status for COVID-19 upon request.

  • A Clear Criminal Record Check, a Confirmed Criminal Record History and/or Fingerprints Results.
  • A copy of a valid Government Issued Photo ID.
The positions require individuals with proven ability to work in a cross cultural, diverse environment demonstrating cultural awareness and sensitivity. Candidates must be open and flexible to perform other duties as required. The ability to speak the T\xc5\x82\xc4\xb1\xcc\xa8ch\xc7\xab language is considered an asset. This is seasonal employment working on a rotational schedule in a remote camp site setting; 12-hour days/nights.
