ELLMAR Construction Inc. is a growing heavy construction company focused on offering Paving and Excavation services to municipal and commercial clients in the Winnipeg and surrounding area.

We are seeking a reliable Class 3 Drivers to join our team for the snow removal season with full time opportunities to continue through the summer construction season for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

Operate Class 3 tandem dump trucks to haul snow and equipment over the winter season Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload construction equipment, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo. Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members regarding routes, schedules, and any potential delays. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on the road and at loading/unloading sites.

Skills and Qualifications

A valid Manitoba Class 3 Drivers License with Air Endorsement. Proven experience with snow clearing or construction is preferred. Capable of managing time with the ability to adhere to strict snow clearing and construction schedules. Able to work on an on call basis, 10-12 hour shifts, day and/or night shifts, Sunday through Saturday for the winter season Experience operating heavy equipment (Skid steer, Loader, Excavator, Dozer, Etc.) is considered an asset.

Employment

We are continually growing our construction season capacity with several commitments to projects in place for the 2026 season.

Candidates with experience in heavy equipment operation and/or perform well over the snow clearing season will be highly considered for extension into a full time/permanent role leading into the construction season.

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
