Reporting to the Transportation Director and the Warehouse Manager, the incumbent will provide delivery and/or order pickup services. They will ensure the unloading of their truck and the good condition of the merchandise upon delivery, as well as compliance with delivery conditions.
Responsibilities:
Inspects the delivery truck daily according to the various checkpoints required by their superior before delivering orders. Completes the information and submits the duly completed report to the supervisor;
Ensures that the delivery payment terms indicated on the invoice are met (e.g., check pickup, C.O.D., etc.) and collects the required cash or checks;
Delivers assigned orders. Ensures that the delivered merchandise is in good condition; if not, retrieves the merchandise and informs the customer of the procedure and return terms;
Picks up orders from various suppliers;
Unloads the truck of returned merchandise and merchandise picked up from suppliers;
Makes a second delivery route, when necessary;
Completes the various management reports at the end of each day (return report, delivery receipt, etc.) and submits them to the Administration Clerk;
Assists with loading orders when needed.
Requirements:
High school diploma;
Targeted driving experience: 4 years;
Knowledge of the rules of the Highway Code and those applicable to heavy vehicles;
Possess a Class 3 driver's license;
Punctuality;
Autonomy, resourcefulness, and adaptability;
Dedication to customer service.

Note:
Monday to Friday, 6:00 a.m. - late afternoon (Delivery ends);
Full-time position;
No weekends;
Homecoming every evening;
Local transportation;
Overtime available, paid at time and a half.
