Job Description
We are looking for Class 3 commercial Drivers with experience, for one of our prestigious client in St-Laurent (Montreal), QC.
:
Transporting goods safely to customers, following the delivery instructions provided by company dispatchers. It involves multiple deliveries, using a tail gate straight truck unit. You must be comfortable with some hand bombing and doing deliveries with in the city Inspecting the designated truck before and after each trip to ensure that it is mechanically sound. Correctly securing goods for transportation to prevent damages and accidents. Supervising all loading and unloading procedures to prevent any cargo damage that may occur as a result of unsafe handling or negligence. Obtaining customers' signatures after each delivery to confirm receipt of the correct goods, in the correct quantity. Planning travel routes, taking into account possible road construction, traffic congestion, and difficult weather conditions, to ensure that deliveries are made on time.
What you will bring in:
Minimum 1 year of verifiable experience Ability to operate a straight truck with Lift/tail gate unit. Comfortable doing handbombing Good Work ethics Clean driving record and employment history.
You will get paid:
$22 per hour Overtime pay after 40 hours
It's a 10- 12 hour day shift, hence lots of OT is available
