Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Combo Vac Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various destinations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and excellent driving skills.

Responsibilities

Safely operate the Vac truck to, from, and on various designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and any incidents that occur during transport. Collaborate with dispatchers and other team members to optimize routes and schedules. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies regarding safety and conduct while on the road. Assist in minor automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle readiness.

Skills

Proficient in commercial driving with a valid class 3 commercial driver's license (CDL). Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on vehicles. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong communication skills for interacting with team members, dispatchers, and clients. A commitment to safety practices in all aspects of driving and freight handling. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 - 70 per week
