Overview

MacNutt Enterprises is seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage various types of materials such as soil, bark mulch and aggregates.

Responsibilities

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked, mileage, and fuel consumption. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transit. Effectively communicate with customers when doing deliveries. Maintaining a positive and professional demeanor. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road. Perform basic automotive maintenance as needed to ensure vehicle reliability.

Experience

Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). Familiarity with freight handling procedures and regulations. Experience operating heavy equipment, such as front end loaders, is an asset. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.

Wage based on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.69-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week
