About the Role

We're seeking a skilled and motivated

Farm Operator with 1A License

to join our team. Reporting to the Grain Operations Lead and Potato Operations Supervisor, this position plays a key role in supporting both grain and potato operations. You'll operate a variety of modern farm equipment, perform routine maintenance, assist with irrigation, and help ensure efficient, safe, and productive farm operations throughout the growing season.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and maintain seeding, planting, spraying, and harvesting equipment Transport harvested crops via semi-truck from field to storage and to processors Conduct daily equipment inspections and routine servicing (fueling, greasing, cleaning, etc.) Assist with irrigation setup and maintenance Calibrate seeding and spraying equipment and mix chemicals as needed Maintain cleanliness of buildings, yard, and equipment Support overall farm operations and seasonal tasks as directed

Requirements

Valid Class 1A Driver's License (mandatory)

Anhydrous and Pesticide Applicator licenses (or willingness to obtain) Experience operating and maintaining a range of farm machinery (tractors, combines, sprayers, etc.) Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn GPS and field navigation systems Positive attitude, teamwork skills, and a safety-first mindset Willingness to work extended hours during busy seasons

Physical Requirements

Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending and standing for long periods
