Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various destinations while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to operate heavy vehicles and equipment.

Duties

Safely operate a commercial truck with the experience of Flat Deck, Side Dump and Tanker work. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo, utilizing forklift operation when necessary. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on the vehicle as needed. Follow all company policies and procedures related to transportation and safety.

Qualifications

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required. Experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record. Knowledge of freight handling procedures and regulations. First Aid and H2S Tickets. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading cargo.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 - 70 per week
