General Description:

Experienced driver

for:

Tractor and various trailers Local oilfield hauling, onsite and offsite Regular route to Edmonton plus local 160km radius towing and haulage Transporting various cargo and heavy duty equipment in support of major oil sands operators. Winch tractor experience for smart loading of skidded and disables equipment lowbed experience for loading and transport of heavy equipment Salary:To be negotiated. Reading - sufficient to adequately comprehend written policies as well as related government safety and transporation regulations that apply to drivers in this role. Writing - suffcient to provide easy understanding of required reporting, ie. HOS logs, Pre-Trip Inspections, etc Spoken - suffcient to be easily understood over radio or cell phone Hours of Service Log Books Daily Pre-Trip Vehicle Inspections Daily Timesheet Risk Assessment & Planning Maintenance Request Forms Industrial work areas Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Physically demanding Steel-toed safety boots Document use - following instructions diligently Numeracy - basic math as it applies to Log Books, Invoice/ Waybill Working with others Problem solving
