Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 Truck Driver. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting equipment and oilfield tools efficiently. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail and the ability to manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

Safely transport a variety of equipment, oilfield tools and other commodities across Western Canada Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safe operation Secure cargo properly using chains, straps and binders to prevent shifting or damage during transport. Ensure compliance with all traffic laws, regulation and safety standards while driving and loading/unloading cargo. Comply with DOT and all federal regulations Flexibility to accommodate overnight stops, including sleeping in a truck when required

Skills

Valid Class 1 driver's license with minimum of 5 years driving experience and no more than 2 demerit points Experience hauling low bed, highboy, slide axle and winch trailers Winch truck experience is considered an asset Geographic knowledge of Western Canada Experience working off road, on temporary and uneven road conditions with the ability to put on tire chains Equipment moving experience included but not limited to; excavators, dozers, manlifts, forklifts, office trailers and sea cans is an asset Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
