Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving practices, as well as the ability to operate heavy equipment and perform basic automotive repairs when necessary.

Duties

Safely operate a truck to transport freight to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition. Experience using ELD (Electronic Logging Device) software to record Hours of Service and ensure compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that occur during transport. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.

Experience

Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License). Familiarity with freight handling procedures and regulations. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment are essential. $24.00 per hour
