Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our logistics team. This role involves transporting freight safely and efficiently across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, familiarity with heavy equipment operation, and a commitment to safety and professionalism.

Duties

Operate commercial trucks to transport freight to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip Assist with vehicle maintenance and minor repairs, including automotive repair tasks when necessary Coordinate with dispatchers and warehouse staff to ensure smooth loading, unloading, and delivery processes Safely operate heavy equipment required for freight handling and loading operations

Requirements

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record Experience in commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, and freight transportation Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently Knowledge of automotive repair basics for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate documentation Ability to work independently and follow safety protocols diligently Physical ability to load/unload freight, including lifting heavy items when necessary Prior experience with freight handling and logistics is preferred

Pay: $90,000.00-$135,000.00 per year
