Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Class 1A Truck Driver to join our logistics team. Our business is located near Pilot Butte SK. and serves Regina and the surrounding area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. This job will require some weekends, night shifts and overtime as necessary. A pre employment drug and alcohol test is also required. End dump trailer experience is a must. Truck and pup trailer experience is an asset but not necessarily required. Please provide a resume with an up to date driver's abstract.

Duties

Safely operate commercial trucks to transport aggregates, etc. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of materials. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transit. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Operate loaders when required for loading or unloading material. (Previous experience not required but an asset.)

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License). SGI driver's abstract is required. End dump experience (Truck and pup trailer is an asset.) Front end loader or skid steer experience is an asset but not required Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. SCOT/WHMIS training will be provided if applicant doesn't have

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.50-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
