Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial driving and heavy equipment operation, ensuring the safe and timely transportation of freight. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety regulations, and the ability to operate various types of vehicles and equipment.

Duties



Safely operate trucks to transport goods and materials to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload freight using forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any vehicle maintenance performed. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during transport. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. Perform basic automotive repairs as necessary to ensure vehicle readiness.

Experience



Familiarity with freight handling procedures and regulations. Experience operating forklifts and other heavy equipment is preferred. Basic knowledge of automotive repair is a plus, enabling quick troubleshooting on the road. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively while adhering to delivery schedules.
