Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Class 1 Oil Truck Driver to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting oil and related products to and from various locations while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a Class 1 oil tanker truck to transport oil and other petroleum products to various locations.

Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.

Adhere to all relevant federal, provincial, and company safety and operational guidelines.

Keep accurate records of deliveries, fuel usage, and maintenance logs.

Communicate effectively with dispatch to ensure timely delivery.

Assist with loading and unloading of materials as needed.

Comply with environmental standards and road safety rules.

Requirements:
Valid Class 1 driver's license with a clean driving record.

Previous experience as an oil truck driver or in the transportation of hazardous materials is preferred.

Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Must be flexible with work schedule and available for overtime if required.

Preferred Qualifications:
First Aid, TDG, and WHMIS certifications.

Previous experience in the oil and gas industry.
