Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
- Transport goods and materials from one location to another
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle and report any maintenance or repair needs
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members

Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements
- Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents in the past [number] years
- Proven experience as a truck driver or similar role
- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is a plus
- Ability to safely operate a forklift for loading and unloading cargo
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina to handle long hours on the road and lift heavy objects
