Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves safely operating commercial vehicles to transport freight across The United States of America and Canada, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the highest safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, familiarity with heavy equipment operation, and a commitment to excellent service. Responsibilities

Safely operate trucks to transport freight to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo Maintain accurate delivery logs, driver logs, and other required documentation Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during transit Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle readiness Assist with warehouse operations including freight handling and inventory management when not on the road

Qualifications

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and safety checks Physical ability to load, unload, and handle freight, including lifting heavy items will be required once in a while Prior experience in commercial driving or logistics is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates with relevant skills in forklift operation or heavy equipment operation
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.91-$34.22 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 70 per week
