Job Description

College Farms Ltd. is seeking capable, hardworking individuals who enjoy variety in their work. Our main operation is located just west of Lethbridge, AB. We also have a farm in SW Saskatchewan. Applicants must be willing to travel between AB and SK locations at various times throughout the year. Accommodations and food are provided when at SK location. College Farms Ltd. is primarily a grain farm mostly growing durum, barley, canola, and lentils.

Looking for general farm laborers and class one drivers who are willing to do a variety of jobs.

Jobs include but not limited to:

operating farm equipment (seeding equipment, sprayers, trucks, tractors, combines, grain carts, rock pickers, tillage equipment)

Hauling grain, seed, and fertilizer with super b grain trailers. (Class One required)

Water and chemical hauling during spray season (Class One required)

General Maintenance of trucks, trailers, and farm equipment.

Mixing chemical

Yard maintenance

Must be willing to work long hours at various times of the year and be physically fit.

Must be willing to work in and maintain a family friendly environment.

Must be able to speak English as well as read and write.

Must have a valid drivers license and clean driver abstract.

Must be legal to work in Canada

Class One Drivers license an asset. Farm experience an asset.
