Birch Mountain Enterprises is looking to hire experienced Class 1 Operators. Must have experience with Demo end dump, demo B-train, flat deck, pipe hauling, chaining and strapping and driving in the mine with a minimum of 3 years manual transmission experience.What's in it for you?

Operators should be mechanically inclined and physically fit to work in all kinds of weather. Preference will be given to candidates that possess previous experience in the industrial sector. May have to overnight from time to time, Edmonton/Red deer.Duties and Responsibilities:Operate several types of units (Demo end dump, demo B-train, flat deck) in a safe and efficient manner.Must be physically able to perform tasks and work in all weather.Completion of daily documentation including but not limited to daily logbooks, customer work orders, field level risk assessment, pre/post trip inspections.Follow instructions for tasks assigned by Dispatch or Supervisor.Complete daily housekeeping of assigned truck to ensure maintenance of company image.Attend daily toolbox and safety meetings as scheduled and adhere to corporate and site safety regulations and procedures.Maintain and operate all BME tools and equipment to the required standards and procedures.Ensure that all training is kept current.Follow all TDG and WHMIS standards and regulations.Seek out continuous improvement opportunities.Provide customer-focused services in all activities.Qualifications:Possess a valid Class 1 driverxe2x80x99s license with clean driverxe2x80x99s abstract.Minimum 3 years experience including up to 18 speed manual class 1 equipment.Previous or related experience operating Demo end dump, demo B-train, flat deck.Mine drive experience is an asset.Chaining and strapping experience required.Previous pipe hauling experience is an asset.Clear verbal and written communication skills.OSSA (or BSO/CSO) and CSTS certification.Certification in Transportation of Dangerous Good, Daily Trip Inspections, Provincial Hours of Service for Alberta, Weights and Dimensions, Cargo Securement for flatbeds, WHMIS, and H2S Alive considered an asset.Must successfully pass BME driverxe2x80x99s evaluation, D&A and fit for duty pre-employment screening.We thank you for your interest in Birch Mountain and remind all candidates that only successful applicants will be contacted.
