Job Description
Midland Transport Limited has become a leader in the transportation industry by providing superior quality service to our customers.
Our services include LTL, T/L, Courier Services, and Third-Party Logistics/ Brokerage which provide the convenience of one-stop shipping.
Midland Transport is currently seeking a Class 1 P&D Tractor Driver based out of our Moncton Refrigerated Distribution Center.
The selected candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and a "Can Do" attitude.
Shift:
- Hours: Wed - 8pm to 8am, Thu - 9pm to 9am, Fri - 9pm to 9am, Sat - 8pm to 8am
- Working with reefer equipment providing temperature-controlled services.
- Maintain company equipment standards
- Process delivery records with electronic handheld device
- Minimum 2 years of safe tractor driving experience
- Class one (1) driver's license
- Clean driver's abstract and criminal search
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude with a commitment to provide Superior Quality Service
- Hourly rate $22.11.
- Benefits upon start: Medical, Drug and Dental, RRSP match at 5%, Life Insurance and Discounts.
- Mechanical Breakdowns compensation $15 per hour, max 8h a day.
- Quarterly Safety bonus $200 (no preventable accident).
- Uniform Allowance is $350 per unit, per year.
