is currently seeking motivated and experienced individuals to join our team as a

Log Truck Driver.

As a Log Truck Driver you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a class 1 trucks within BC.

This position will be working in the Prince George area driving 2023 Kenworth T880 Tridrive and B train log trailers.

What we do

Gravel Trucks - Side dumps, End dumps, Belly dumps Lowbed Trucks - 6 to 8 axles Log Trucks - Short and Long logs Step decks and Super B within BC and AB All Kenworth trucks, 2022 and 2023 The location of the work is flexible but most work is in the Kelowna and Prince George areas

The Role

Driving for long hours under varying weather, site, terrain and road conditions safely Preform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tractor/trailers and when stopped enroute including fueling and washing truck Daily reporting and paperwork Physically fit with excellent mental focus Able to properly secure loads Have knowledge of CVSE rules and regulations Install tire chains in winter conditions when required Speak clearly and concisely when using a radio and communicate with various people throughout the day Manage hours of work using an electronic driver's log The ability to load and unload equipment would be an asset

The Candidate

Must Hold Class One Driver's License with an air brakes endorsement Must be able to provide a Class One Drivers' License, certifications/licenses and a drivers abstract Available to work 50 to 70 hours per week, with regular overtime opportunities. Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner. Ability to work as part of a team. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to analyze and troubleshoot Positive attitude and a self-starter Able to work in an environment that may include exposure to weather, dust, chemicals, moving mechanical parts, and noise.
