JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are currently accepting resumes for an experienced

Local Class 1 Truck Driver / Warehouse person

for afternoon shift (Tuesday to Saturday) from 12pm-9pm at our Prince George, BC operations. Overtime available.



Start Date: As Soon As Possible

Job Summary:

The successful applicant will be expected to perform the following during afternoon shifts (Tuesday to Saturday):


Operate Class 1 vehicles for local deliveries and pickups Safely transport goods to designated locations Assist with loading/unloading of materials at the warehouse Maintain accurate delivery logs and documents Ensure all safety regulations and standards are followed Perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles / power units Provide excellent customer service during deliveries

Qualifications:

In order to be qualified, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:


Valid Class 1 license Minimum 1 year of local driving experience Strong attention to detail Knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations Driver's abstract must show no driving-related criminal code convictions in the prior 36 months; no more than 2 moving violations in the prior 12 months; and no more than 3 moving violations in the prior 36 months. The date of conviction and the current date will be the date used to determine time periods Previous warehouse experience a plus Must be able to pass pre-employment drug testing Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs Proficient in English (both reading and writing) A positive, team-oriented attitude
