Linehaul Truck Driver. (Owner Operator).

The Driver can be based out of any major city in the Maritimes.

What we offer:

Canadian miles: $1.550 per mile. /USA miles: $1.665 per mile. Fuel Capped at: Domestic $0.408 per liter & U.S. $1.54 per U.S. gal. Safety and fuel bonus paid quarterly. Running Linehaul between the Maritimes, United States eastern seaboard, and Ontario/Quebec. Deliver freight to assigned locations ensuring timely delivery. Offload variable shipment weight and handle freight equipment properly and in a safe manner to avoid any damage. Communicate efficiently with the central dispatch and customers. Operate the tractor trailer in accordance with the safety regulation: company rules while following safety procedures and traffic laws. Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the truck operation. Report any incident, accident, injury or damage in a timely manner. Willingness to work linehaul legs into the United States, including New York and New Jersey.

Bunk Truck must be no older than 8 years Education Required: High School or GED. Class 1 driver's license with a minimum of

4 years of safe tractor trailer driving experience in North America required.

Clean driver's abstract and criminal search. Eligibility to receive a FAST card. Eligibility to cross the border with US. Familiarity with satellite systems. Excellent communication skills, work ethic and reliability. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Able to lift up to 50 lbs. using the proper equipment. Safety conscious. Must have flexibility to work various shifts: Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends.
