Job Summary:

Bandstra Transportation Systems is seeking a reliable and safety-minded individual to fulfill our Linehaul Midnight Switch position at our Kamloops Terminal. This hybrid role includes warehouse responsibilities in the early evening and a nightly linehaul run between Kamloops and Williams Lake. The position plays an important part in our new LTL schedule for the North, ensuring smooth freight flow between Kamloops, Prince George, and Okanagan routes.



This is a Monday to Friday evening shift starting at 6:00 p.m., with a combination of warehouse loading and linehaul driving.

Responsibilities:

Load remaining freight into trailers upon Okanagan trailer arrival Safely operate a commercial vehicle on nightly runs between Kamloops, 100 Mile House, and Williams Lake Complete trailer switch with Prince George drivers in Williams Lake Make scheduled drops in 100 Mile House and Williams Lake as required Return to Kamloops with possible additional freight drop-offs Maintain accurate logbooks and documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards Ensure freight is handled safely and efficiently in both warehouse and driving duties

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this role:


Valid Class 1 Driver's License Previous warehouse experience is a strong asset Forklift certification and experience loading/unloading trailers a definite plus Strong attention to safety, detail, and time management Ability to work independently on evening/night shifts Excellent communication skills and commitment to customer service Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs Proficient in English (both reading and writing) Must pass a Drug and Alcohol pre-employment test Criminal Background check will be required for employment
