Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our Heavy Excavation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and an ability to cross train into other equipment operating roles (as required).
Duties
Operate trucks for hauling excavated fill materials Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents during transport. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck both inside and out.
Qualifications
Valid Class 1 with Air Endorsement is required. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred. Basic knowledge of automotive repair is a plus. Ability to operate other heavy equipment an asset. Strong communication skills and ability to work independently. Excellent time management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines. Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required.

Pay: $15.80-$54.66 per hour
