Position Description

We are currently seeking motivated, hardworking individuals for our

Class 1 Driver - Night Shift (5:00 pm - 3:00 am)

role in our Regina location. We are looking someone who can work 10-12 hours a day with daily hauls from Regina to our landfill in Gladmar Saskatchewan hauling waste material (Garbage, household waste, open a construction and demolition waste recycling facility, Etc.)

Key Responsibilities

Operate and drive Super B or 53ft trailers Should possess and should be quick learner and ready to work as a team Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled and fuel consumption. Moving Bins, collecting waste, emptying moloks, finding equipment Ensure cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety requirements and follow safety procedures for transporting dangerous goods. Communicate with dispatch on a regular basis to ensure delivery is completed Ensure Pre-trip and Post-trip inspections are completed in a timely manner. Perform manual and electronic data-entry on a frequent basis. Advanced coordination with dispatch regarding routes. Ensure the appropriate PPE is worn as all times May transport hazardous products or dangerous goods. Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications

3-5 years of driving experience is preferred Must possess a valid Class 1 license and submit current abstracts, personal and CVOR Comfortable handing household garbage/waste Exceptional verbal communication skills Must be able to successfully pass all required training, background check, and drug and alcohol testing. Truck driving in all types of weather conditions, including the use of chains in the winter. Excavator expereince is considered an asset
