Job Description
Municipal Construction Limited specializes in asphalt production, paving, aggregate production, road building and rehabilitation.
We are currently accepting resumes for
Class 1 Drivers.
This is a full-time seasonal position.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Safely and efficiently haul gravel, asphalt, sand etc. Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure truck is performing to required standards. Maintain familiarity with different trucks/trailers in order to accurately inspect trucks, trailers, tires, pins, lights, etc. Perform minor maintenance, greasing, bulb changes etc. Accurately record and maintain driving logs Adherence to all DOT regulations and company safety practices and procedures
Skills and Qualifications
:Class 1 Driver's License required Completion of Power Line Hazards and WHIMS would be considered an asset Experience in driving across long distances and the ability to remain alert over extended periods Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Frequent noise exposure Long periods of sitting
