Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to operate as a Class 1 Commercial Driver with 2 years mountain driving experience.

Responsibilities

Operate tractor trailer, commercial vehicles to transport freight to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability.

Skills

Proven experience, 2 years as a commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License). Experience with ELD and paper logs. Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and logistics. Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on vehicles. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. Attention to detail in maintaining records and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Pay: From $29.40 per hour
