Compensation:

$35 /hour

We are hiring a full-time Class 1 Driver to haul scrap metal between various sites across Northern Alberta. This position involves regional driving from location to location, transporting scrap loads using a highway tractor and trailer combination. Drivers will be responsible for safe loading, transport, and delivery of materials between yards and partner facilities.

Responsibilities

Operate a Class 1 highway tractor and trailer to haul scrap metal between locations Ensure loads are properly secured and compliant with transport regulations Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues Maintain accurate trip logs and documentation Communicate with dispatch and site contacts Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws

Requirements

Valid Class 1 driver's license Minimum 3 years of verifiable Class 1 driving experience Letter of experience on company letterhead (required for insurance) Clean driver's abstract Experience with hauling and trailer operation Must be ELD-compliant and willing to use company-provided Electronic Logging Devices Physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions Strong communication and time management skills
