Reporting to the Transport Manager and site Project Manager/Foreman, the 1A Truck Driver will be responsible for loading, hauling, and dumping of asphalt materials and heavy equipment to a variety of locations across Saskatchewan. We are looking for an experienced truck driver who can take initiative, work independently, and has strong communication skills. Our ideal candidate has 1-2 years experience using their 1A license and is comfortable backing up semi tractor-trailer units in tight spaces. This position follows a 10 and 4 schedule, and requires regular overtime and travel. Qualifications

• 1A Driver?s License
• Have a clean driver?s abstract
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication skills
• Comfortable backing up semi tractor-trailer units in tight spaces
• Willingness to travel and overnight
• 1-2 years experience (preferred)
• Experience operating heavy equipment is an asset

Duties and Responsibilities

• Hauling hot asphalt, aggregate, and/or heavy equipment
• Perform regular truck/worksite inspections and perform general maintenance
• Assist with setting up and tearing down Asphalt Plants
• Participate in regular safety meetings and engage with the company safety culture
• Perform general labour activities as needed
