Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods over short or long distances
Duties
- Safely operate trucks to transport goods to various destinations
- Load and unload cargo
- Adhere to all safety regulations and traffic laws
- Perform regular maintenance on the truck
- Keep detailed logs of working hours and vehicle maintenance
- Communicate with dispatchers and team members
Skills
- Commercial driving experience
- Familiarity with handling different types of freight
- Basic automotive repair skills
- Ability to operate heavy equipment
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
Experience:
Commercial driving: 1 year (required)
gravel: 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification:
Class 1 Licence (required)
CSTS (preferred)
Location:
Parkland County, AB T7Y 0C9 (preferred)
Willingness to travel:
50% (preferred)
Work Location: In person
