Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving and a strong understanding of various vehicle types, including tractor-trailers, tow trucks, Equipment trailers and flatbeds. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.

Duties

Operate commercial vehicles for the purpose of transportion to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo using equipment such as forklifts, Loaders, or manual labor as necessary. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and cargo transported. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery status and any potential delays. Adhere to all safety protocols while driving, including the use of seat belts and following speed limits. Assist in the maintenance of vehicles by reporting any mechanical issues or required repairs. Navigate routes efficiently while considering traffic patterns and road conditions.

Experience

Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License). Familiarity with various types of vehicles including Semi trucks, tankers, heavy haul trucks, and Tow trucks. Experience in delivery driving or route driving is preferred. Knowledge of mechanical operations related to heavy equipment is a plus. Previous experience in warehouse operations or freight handling is beneficial. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
