, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays when snowfall occurs. Reliable last-minute availability is essential for this position.

Summary

We are seeking a skilled Class 1 Dump Truck Driver to join our team for snow clearing with The City of Prince George. This will be a seasonal evening shift. Work is available as long as there is snow on the ground.

Responsibilities

Operate dump truck and pup safely and efficiently. Haul snow and ice from streets to ensure safe working conditions. Perform routine maintenance on snow removal equipment. Collaborate with site managers to prioritize snow removal tasks. Monitor weather conditions and adjust operations accordingly. Maintain accurate records of hours worked and equipment usage. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required. Proven experience operating heavy equipment, particularly dump trucks. Knowledge of safety protocols related to snow removal operations. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Previous experience in construction or related fields is an asset.
