We are seeking a skilled and dependable Class 1 Driver for to operate a variety of commercial vehicles with professionalism and safety. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial driving, including shuttle driving, freight transport, and heavy equipment operation. This role involves delivering goods, transporting passengers, and supporting warehouse operations while maintaining compliance with safety regulations. Duties

Safely operate a range of commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers, box trucks, dump trucks, flatbeds, and limousines. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks, forklifts, or manual methods as required. Transport goods or passengers efficiently across designated routes, adhering to schedules and traffic laws. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules or route changes. Support warehouse activities including moving freight within the facility when necessary. Ensure all driving activities comply with company policies and transportation regulations.

Experience

Proven experience in commercial driving roles such as freight delivery, shuttle driving, school bus driving, or heavy haul operations. Familiarity with operating various types of commercial vehicles including tractor-trailers, box trucks, tankers, tow trucks, and yard jockeys. Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting is preferred. Experience with route driving and heavy equipment operation is advantageous. Strong communication skills for effective coordination with team members and clients. Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with load & unload procedures is beneficial. This position requires a valid driver's license along with a clean driving record. Applicants should possess excellent navigation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate manual transmissions when necessary. A background in military logistics or heavy equipment operation is considered a plus for candidates seeking to bring additional expertise to the role.
