The role is based in Edmonton, Alberta, with some overnight travel to Maxx's project sites across Canada.
Maxx North America Services Ltd., one of Alberta's most progressive and innovative pipeline maintenance and water management service companies, is looking to hire a Class 1 Truck Driver to work within our growing corporation. Reporting to the Pipeline Maintenance Manager, the ideal candidate will work closely with the internal project teams to haul heavy equipment to work sites.

What you will do in this role:
Operate tractor trailer unit to deliver equipment to our work sites.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip on truck and trailer.
Accurate completion of E-Log, adhering to Federal Hours of Service.
Loading and unloading equipment.
Represent the company to the customer and the general public in a professional manner.
Completion of timesheets, fuel envelopes and mileage envelopes.
Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
Complete daily job hazard assessments.
Adhere and promote Maxx's Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
What we are looking for:
Has a minimum of 2 years of experience loading and transporting Heavy Equipment with Truck + Various Trailer Configurations
Has a minimum of 2 years of experience operating an 18-speed picker truck Body job equipped with a 8-ton knuckle boom
Is responsible for loading equipment and securing loads in a safe and compliant manner
Work ranges from transporting earth moving equipment, oilfield equipment, and all types of other heavy equipment
Familiarity with off road driving, mountain driving, and tire chains is an asset
Acceptable 5-year commercial drivers abstract
Valid Class 1 driver's license.
Minimum 3 years driving experience.
18 Speed experience considered an asset.
Clean driver's abstract.
Ability to put tire chains on.
Knowledge of Federal Hours of Service.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment, meet deadlines, and adapt to change quickly.
Team player with the ability to communicate at an acceptable level with dispatch and customers.
