Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to pick up and grade bulk milk from farms across designated routes, and deliver to the designated processing plants. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.

Duties

Safely operate trucks to transport freight to various locations according to schedule. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and assets to ensure safety and compliance. Load, unload and wash tanker trailers. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation. Maintain accurate driving e-logs. Communicate effectively with lead hands and clients regarding delivery schedules or issues. Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle readiness.

Requirements

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with clean driving record. Experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields preferred. Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and automotive repair is advantageous. Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently. Strong understanding of safety protocols and traffic laws. Excellent communication skills and reliability in adhering to schedules. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy hoses and working in various weather conditions. Must pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment.
