Responsibilities
Operate a Class 1 tractor-trailer for long-haul routes into the United States
Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
Follow all Canadian and U.S. DOT regulations and company procedures
Maintain accurate electronic logbooks (ELD)
Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding trip status, delays, or issues
Ensure safe, secure, and timely transportation of freight
Manage border-crossing documentation and procedures
Keep assigned equipment clean and in good working order
Report mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly
Requirements
Valid
Class 1 Driver's License
Minimum
3 years of verifiable long-haul experience
Commercial Driver's Abstract
(clear or within company standards)
Valid
Passport
and
U.S. Visa
Ability to travel to and work in the United States
Ability to be away for extended periods
Knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, and Canadian regulations
Strong communication skills
Reliable, professional, and safety-minded
Applicants must include a Commercial Driver's Abstract issued within the last 30 days from all provincial jurisdictions where they have been licensed during the past 5 years.
