Apex and Pro-Tech specialize in complex industrial moves across Western Canada, offering rigging, heavy haul, jack & slide, and custom installation services. Duties & Responsibilities:


Load/unload trailers, tie-down loads, tarp load and rigging Work alongside rigging crew to offload and place equipment using various specialized tools and equipment Follow the instructions outlined in the driver SOP (standard operating procedure) and pay attention to details Exercise good driving manners and taking precautionary measures during inclement weather conditions Safely deliver loads of equipment, including oversize, to our worksites Ensure proper documentation maintained Always maintain good working relations with customers through cooperative attitude Maintain a clean and safe work environment as per company requirements
Qualifications & Skills:


2+ years of experience in a similar role Willing to obtain tickets/certifications Good communication skills and willingness to learn and work within a team environment Able to lift heavy items Honest, reliable, punctual, positive attitude and flexible availability including work out of town is required Valid Class 1 BC driver's license is required; Clean and recent driving abstract is essential Valid Class 3 BC driver's license is not required but considered an asset Rigging experience is preferred, but not required This position will be reporting to onsite
Compensation:


This is a unionized position with IUOE 115. This position will earn union wages and will have access to extended Union healthcare and benefits, a Union-sponsored pension plan, and additional training through the Training Plan. Unionized wage range for this position is $34.77 to $37.01 per hour based on candidate's experience), plus vacation/statutory holiday pay.
