Reporting to the Supervisor, Transportation, this position is responsible for performing shunting and truck driving duties as required.

What are we looking for?

• Clean Driver\'s Abstract **To be provided at the time of interview**
• Experienced Class 1 driver with 2+ years of experience
• Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs.)
• Highly organized and ability to efficiently manage their own work with minimal supervision
• Ability and willingness to work in marked temperature changes
• High level interpersonal and relationship building skills, customer focused

What will your job be?

• Perform safe and efficient moves of trailers between different locations within the yard
• Transport trailers locally and to other location(s) as may be required
• Work closely with Warehouse Supervisor(s) / Team Lead(s) as well as Transportation team to efficiently move / transport trailer(s) / equipment within or outside the yard
• Maintain a safe, organized, clean yard in order to contribute to optimal operations
• Perform general cleaning duties as required
• Performing Pre/Post- trip inspections to ensure fleet standards are met
• Complete Tim Hortons restaurant deliveries from time to time based on business needs
• Complete all appropriate regulatory and Company documentation
• Safely operate on-board truck computers
• Follow food safety procedures at all times
