Working hours: \xe2\x80\x8b45 weekly hours, Various as per operationally requirements

Hourly Wage: Starting wage of $34.67 per hour \xe2\x80\x8b(increases as per collective agreement)

Key Responsibilities:

• Driving to/from customer locations to pick up and deliver packages and freight to customers

• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Manual usage and handling of pump truck

• Tail gate experience is an asset

• Shifts scheduled 9 hours per day, 5 days per week

• Ability to solve problems as they arise while on the road

• Build positive relationships with both our internal and external customers (dispatch, colleagues, managers)

• Comply with all Corporate Policies and Procedures

• Work in a safe manner at all times

• Maintain punctual attendance

• Shunt duties as assigned

• Valid Driver\'s Licence: Class 1A for 3+ years

• Clean Driver\'s abstract with no more than 4 demerits (please upload a current copy with your application)

• Must successfully pass written and road tests

• Must successfully pass Defensive Driving and Courier Methods courses

• Ability to read maps, good sense of geographical direction

• Must be able to handle LTL freight and skids

• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 70 bs.

• Successfully complete a criminal record check and employment verification to qualify

• Obtain a clear Police Clearance Certificate with required

• Strong customer service skills

• Strong organizational skills
