Job Description

Nikiforuk Construction is looking to hire motivated individuals to add to our team. At Nikiforuk we have a focus on safety and take pride in our work. We have successfully operated within the water and sewer construction industry for 58 years, completing various projects to a very high standard.

Responsibilities:

Loading/unloading and transportation of heavy equipment. Haul aggregate, clay, site materials, pipe etc. Ensure loads are secured using chains, straps, tarps as required. Complete vehicle pre trip inspection and log book. Perform general maintenance and cleaning of vehicle as required. Opportunity to work on site as needed (equipment operating, labour etc.) Working with other crew members respectfully.

Requirements:

Valid class 1 or 3 drivers license and current 5 year commercial drivers abstract Physically able to work long hours

Additional Assets:

Experience hauling aggregate with tandem truck and pup Experience hauling heavy equipment Water and sewer construction experience Experience operating heavy equipment (dozer, excavator) Mechanical knowledge

Schedule:

Monday to Friday Weekends Off 12-14 Hour Day Sept 2025 to November 2025 (Weather Dependent)

Pay to be discussed based on experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 5 months

Pay: $28.00-$36.00 per hour
