Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service.

Duties

Operate vehicles to transport freight and materials to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of materials. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times. Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely loading and unloading of goods. Follow all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Must be Able to lift 50 lbs. Assist in basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability.

Skills

Proficient in commercial driving with a valid driver's license . Minimum 1 year experience of class 1. Experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment is preferred. Familiarity with freight handling procedures and regulations. Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in automotive repair situations. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
