What I will be doing?



Operate light-duty pickup, roll-off, and front-load trucks as required. Conduct toolbox and site safety meetings when required. Communicate with site contacts and dispatch operators accordingly. Ensure all necessary training, including operations and safety, is completed and remains current. Adhere to the HSEQ incident reporting protocol. Inspect waste to ensure compliance with the prepared Waste Disposal Permit and with the client's procedures for all waste streams. Complete a monthly bin count and maintain a working knowledge of all bins on site Conduct Worksite Observations (WSOs), site inspections, etc., to meet Acden Environment KPIs. Order Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), parts and other consumables and ensure PPE is utilized as required. Work closely with clients to establish a good working relationship, receive timely feedback utilizing Service Control Report (SCR).

What does Acden need from me?



A valid Class One (1) or Class Three (3) driver's license with airbrake endorsement is required. Three (3) or more years of professional truck driving experience adhering to the Alberta Provincial hours of service is required. Successfully completing a driver's evaluation on a manual 18-speed Class 1/3 vehicle is required. Eligible to work on all Acden client sites is required. Valid Common Safety Orientation (CSO); or BSO certificate, or a combination of CSTS & OSSA is required. Ability to obtain clearance on drug, alcohol, hearing, and physical abilities pre-employment testing is required; this role is designated as safety sensitive.

What are the 'nice to haves'?



Minimum one (1) year of previous Acden work experience is an asset. Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) certification is an asset. Computer skills, including but not limited to: Microsoft Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, etc., are an asset.
