We are seeking applications for the permanent full-time position of Claims Adjuster.

POSITION SUMMARY The successful candidate will be responsible for handling Multi-Line claims with a focus
in Accident Benefits. This will be a fast-paced environment where your professionalism,
accuracy and efficiency will be key to your success in juggling multiple competing tasks.
This position is located in Exeter with a hybrid work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze and interpret insurance policy wording to determine coverage and

evaluate entitlements that are fair and equitable.

• Communicate in a timely and respectful manner with customers, claimants,

lawyers and insurers to settle claims.

• Conduct investigations.
• Ensure all claims are clearly documented and that legislative requirements are

met.

• Handle claims as per company protocols and timelines.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of claims handling experience.
• A college diploma or a university degree is an asset.
• Preference for those with experience includes work in the insurance industry, or

working towards your Chartered Insurance Professional Designation (CIP).

• An ability to demonstrate strong negotiation and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
