As the successful candidate on our Claims team, your responsibilities will include:
managing Claims Examiners to control the investigation, negotiation and resolution of covered claims.
working with the Vice- President of Claims, the Claims Manager will set team performance standards and coach and mentor staff
managing the relationship with the claims committee and clients and ensure reserves are set promptly and claims resolution is on a fair basis to all parties
What you bring:
10 years claims experience with an emphasis on municipal and casualty claims
University degree and CIP
CRM and asset
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Analytical and judgment skills required
Attention to detail is essential
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products,
Highly organized to manage workflow efficiently
