We manage claims for both our Canadian and London based market partners under a delegated authority. This is a

position based in

Analyze and assess coverage of Personal, Commercial and Specialty Lines Property and Casualty Claims
Reviewing and analyzing reports from various service providers including adjusters/experts/lawyers
Reporting to and making recommendations to various Underwriters on complex claims (Domestic and Lloyds of London Underwriters)
Ensuring that company claims protocols and guidelines are adhered to throughout the claims handling process including setting and maintaining loss and expense reserves
Liaise with Underwriters, Brokers and various other stakeholders in a professional and efficient manner

Qualifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in
English and French
Strong investigative and analytical skills including understanding all policy wordings
Effective interpersonal and relationship building skills
Able to work well independently within the overall team environment
Ability to prioritize tasks, meet various deadlines and keep organized
Have a valid AMF Claims Adjuster license

5+ years of claims handling experience preferably with a property and casualty claims background
CIP designation
or currently enrolled in the CIP Program

Description du poste
Analyser et evaluer la couverture en assurance des biens et responsabilite civile en assurance des particuliers, assurance commerciale et specialisee.
Examiner et analyser les rapports provenant de divers fournisseurs de services, incluant les experts en sinistres, experts externes et avocats.
Rediger des rapports et formuler des recommandations aux differents souscripteurs concernant des sinistres complexes (assureurs canadiens et Lloyd's de Londres).
S'assurer du respect des protocoles et lignes directrices de l'entreprise tout au long du processus de gestion des sinistres, incluant l'etablissement et la mise a jour des reserves pour pertes et frais.
Assurer la liaison avec les souscripteurs, courtiers et autres parties prenantes de facon professionnelle et efficace.

Qualifications
Excellentes habiletes de communication orale et ecrite en
francais et en anglais.
Solides competences en analyse et en enquete, incluant une bonne comprehension des libelles de police.
Aptitudes marquees pour les relations interpersonnelles et le travail d'equipe.
Capacite a travailler de facon autonome tout en ayant un bon esprit d'equipe.
Capacite a etablir les priorites, respecter divers delais et maintenir une bonne organisation.
Detenir un permis de l'AMF comme expert en sinistres.

Plus de 5 ans d'experience en gestion de sinistres, de preference en assurance des biens et responsabilite.
Titre de PAA
ou etre actuellement inscrit au programme menant au titre de PAA.
