Locally owned and operated insurance brokerage looking to hire a full-time Claims Associate for a Maternity Leave position (12 Months). Monday-Friday from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.
Key Responsibilities:
Service and administer self-insured benefit plans and Cost Plus. This includes items such as enrollments, terminations, processing claims, processing payments, deposits/electronic funds transfers, monthly billing, etc.
Answer incoming calls to department and handle accordingly.
Cross trained to individual department to have a basic understanding of this area of business.
Present a positive and professional image of the organization.
Qualifications:
Office Administration Certificate or Diploma would be an asset, however, not required.
Resourceful and highly organized.
Ability to work as a team player.
Ability to prioritize duties and attention to detail.
Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
Previous experience is an asset, however, not required. Full training will be provided to the candidate chosen.
