Overview



Poised for aggressive growth, there has never been a better time to be part of the Gallagher Bassett Canada team. We have full-time job opening as a claims administrator in our Toronto branch office. This position provides administrative support to management and adjusters.





How you'll make an impact



Administration of new claims set up. Assist the office switchboard and answer any incoming inquiries Daily mail, faxes, scanning and file document management. Pay claims invoices, assist with reports, memos, letters and other documents, as needed Entering of define coding, claims data and running data analytical reports. Scan and attach documents to file. Manage time sensitive data. Notification and tracking of new claims to carriers. Manage confidential information both internally and externally. Collaborate with carriers and external clients as required. Freely share new ideas and concepts which you feel will benefit the office and co-workers.


About you



Time management skills
Strong Organization skills with attention to detail and accuracy including planning and executing meetings/training.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as demonstrated by your ability convey professionalism.
Strong understanding of Microsoft Office programs, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
A willingness to adapt to changes in technology and learn the necessary skills
The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Demonstrated observance to policies and procedures
Exceptional customer services skills required

II. Qualifications

2 year related experience required. College/University degree or equivalent work experience preferred. Bilingualism (French/English) would be an asset Experience in the insurance industry would be an asset. Computer proficiency is a requirement, knowledge especially in Excel.
