Your mission:
As a Medical Claims Analyst, you will be at the heart of the decision-making process. Using your expertise, you will assess LS Travel Insurance's obligations by analyzing the medical evidence, the facts surrounding the claim, the contractual provisions and the legislative framework in force.
Your day-to-day responsibilities:
Independently manage a varied portfolio of complex and diverse cases.
Analyze and process several types of insurance policies simultaneously.
Interact with stakeholders to gather essential information for decision-making.
Communicate decisions clearly and effectively to customers and partners.
Ensure rigorous follow-up of files and initiate necessary recourse when required.
Conduct negotiations on rejected files (simple cases).
Support the team during high volume periods.
Respect established deadlines and priorities to provide outstanding service.
Represent and embody the values of LS Travel Insurance on an ongoing basis.
Contribute actively to the evolution of our practices and to continuous improvement.
You'll thrive in this role if you're curious, enjoy auditing and research, and have previous claims experience. Your organizational skills, attention to detail and writing skills will be put to good use in this role. Spoken and written bilingualism (French and English) is essential, as 90% of exchanges will be in English.
This is a permanent position. The normal work week is 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Our offices are in Trois-Rivieres. It is usually expected to work from the office once a week, but we are also willing to consider 100% remote.
